Genocide in Darfur has been a big issue within our global community. Should we step in or should we allow them to continue in their own turmoil? You make the call. Set up a plan for putting soldiers in place, how many, when or set up a platform in which we do not. Both must be convincing to effectively get votes.

Dafur is a tragedy, but if there's one lesson to learn from the last eight years of failed foreign policy it's that we can't act alone. Private and public organizations can continue to work to collect donations and send aid, but our government needs to work closely with our NATO allies to increase the UN's presense in Sudan. Genocide is ugly, and sometimes our international relations can be just as ugly, but this is one global event that NATO has to push to peace.
